Young Adult Ministry Specialization/ Training AUGUST 2010

This two day Training opportunity/Specialization will be offered twice a year in August/September and February/March.

This specialization is designed for both adults and young adults who work in or volunteer in young adult ministry at a parish or university. This specialization gives a basic overview of how to develop and implement a young adult ministry program in your community. The session is based on the U.S. Bishop's document "Sons and Daughters of the Light " which gives a basic framework for young adult ministry.

For more information or to register, contact Theresa Thibodeaux (213) 637-7498 or tathibodeaux@la-archdiocese.org.

Evenings of Prayer

Advent Evening of Prayer. An annual evening for young adults from across the Archdiocese to gather and be refreshed in the journey during Advent. It is a time to come be with friends and spend some "quiet time" reflecting about this season of waiting. It is also a great way to make new friends and renew past friendships.

Lenten Evening of Prayer . An annual evening for young adults from across the Archdiocese to gather and be refreshed in the journey during Lent. A time to come be with friends and spend some "quiet time" reflecting about this season of change and renewal.
